The Jesus Prom is a yearly event put on by Southland Christian Church for people with disabilities.

Here are some of the highlights from this year’s event:

This was part of the setup at the event. This part of the setup is very enthusiastic, giving off positive vibes and is very welcoming.

 

This is a picture of my dad and his “prom date” showing off their fashion sense.

 

This is just one of the many games at the Jesus Prom this year. It shows one of the participants playing the game, Fruit Ninja.

My father participated in the event this year, as he does every year. I interviewed him about his experience.

Q: What is the Jesus Prom?

A: A social function for people with physical and mental disabilities.

Q: Can you tell me about your experience this year?

A: It was fun. I enjoyed the music and the person I was assigned had a very outgoing personality.

Q: When is the Jesus Prom?

The Jesus Prom of 2017 was an incredible night full of joy, laughter, and memories. It is an awesome night every year.
