Anxiety is the most common mental illness among teens. Nearly 32% of teenagers, 13-18 years old, suffer from anxiety according to the National Institute of Mental Health.

Among the younger generation, otherwise known as Generation Z, more teens stay in school longer, delay getting jobs, have divorced parents, and use drugs which are more accessible these days. All of that can cause more anxiety among teens.
